3M Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Discs

These 3M radial bristle discs are designed for wood or metal applications and will allow you to sand in places that have been unreachable up to now. Excellent for de-burring, de-fuzzing and sanding of irregular surfaces. For most applications, 3M recommends an operating speed of 15,000 rpm for best results.  In our experiecne, 4 to 5,000 rpm is suitable for some tasks.
Grits 80 and 120 can be used for light scratch removal, 220 for fine sanding, and 400 will finish up and bring a sheen to the wood surface.

Available in 6 or 12 packs in various grits and sizes.

REQUIRED MOUNTING MANDRELS are listed within each size category.

• 9/16" and 3/4" Radial Bristle Discs require the M-5 or M-7 mandrel.
• 1" Radial Bristle Discs require the M-10 or M-12 mandrel.
• 2" and 3" Radial Bristle Discs require the M-23 mandrel.
