About Privacy & Security

We value and protect your privacy. We will not share your personal information with any third parties unless required to do so by law. Contact information is used strictly for correspondence purposes. Visitors who choose to subscribe to our mailing list will receive special offer or new product announcement messages periodically. Inclusion in our mail list is voluntary and members can unsubscribe at any time right here on our site.

Our site uses industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your sensitive data. Credit card account information is never stored in our database at any time. It is relayed in real time to PayPal's ultra-secure online payment gateway and your transaction is either authorized or declined immediately. While we do store the transaction ID for your payment, there is no possibility that a hacker could steal your credit card account information from us, because it simply isn't there to be stolen.

About our use of "cookies". Our site does use cookies to store your preferences and items that you have in your shopping cart. Cookies never contain any personally-identifying data and cannot possibly harm your computer. However, you must have your browser set to accept cookies from our site in order to use our shopping cart system. 

Shipments are made via FedEx Home Delivery or FedEx Ground, or USPS.  Our posted standard rates apply to deliveries within the 48 contiguous states.  Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii will be sent via USPS Priority Mail and may incur additional costs depending on package size, weight and insured value. 

We are happy to serve our woodturning friends in other countries.  Currently, these orders must be placed by telephone so that we can estimate shipping costs for you prior to the order being taken.  This way, you will know the total cost of your purchase in advance. Please contact us via telephone at 757-665-4597. If you prefer, you can place your order online, however, it will remain on hold until you receive an order confirmation e-mail with the confirmed order total and a "Pay Now" link that you can click through and pay for your order.

PRODUCTS WITH SPECIAL HANDLING: All Advanced Lathe Tool products will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer. The shipping charges are different than the standard charges posted in the shopping cart. For that reason, your order will be forwarded to us to add the appropriate charges, and then returned to you for approval and payment. 

We offer a variety of secure online payment options that you can use to pay for your order. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. If you opt to use a PayPal account, please know that you will be briefly redirected to PayPal.com's online payment screen to submit your payment. Once your PayPal payment is complete, you will click the "Return To Merchant Site" button on the payment confirmation screen to return to our site and print your receipt, which will contain the full details of your order.

If you prefer NOT to pay online, you can still use our shopping cart system to build a printable mail order form that you can mail to us with a check or money order payment. If you choose this option, place your order online normally. When you get to the payment screen look for the "Print Mail Order Form" link at the bottom of the screen. Click this link to print your order details.

We would like all of our customers to be pleased with the items they purchase.  If you receive an item that you are not satisfied with, or encounter a defective product, please contact us to arrange to return it.  We will be glad to repair or replace the item as required.

For customers who are interested in checking their online order status or reviewing their online order history, you can click the "My Online Orders" link in our banner to log in and review your account history. In the event that you forget the password you created when you placed your first online order, you can click the "Forgot Your Password" link to have it e-mailed to you immediately.
