Abranet® Sanding Discs

This unique patented sanding material is an open mesh that contains thousands of small holes. It is an aluminum oxide grain resin bonded to a polyamide fabric which is durable and long lasting.

It will clean easily by blowing it out with air, tapping it on a hard surface or by washing. It produces a very uniform sanding pattern and a perfectly smooth surface. Can be used for sanding WET or GREEN wood, as well as dry wood and simply will not clog like other abrasives. We recommend the use of our Protector Pads with this abrasive to prevent damage to the hook material on your disc holder, and provides a much better grip on the abrasive. We recommend one Protector Pad for each disc of different size & grit.

Our protector pads serve two very important functions.
First, they are made with a special Velcro hook that provides a much more positive grip to the Abranet than any standard disc holder can by itself. This prevents the disc from coming loose or off during the sanding process. Secondly, they prevent damage to the velcro face on your disc holder which can occur due to the open mesh design of the Abranet.
We recommend one Protector Pad for each disc of different size & grit.
